How do the seminar courses work?
The online video seminars or web-classes have been accredited by the South African Medical Association as a level 1 ‘once-off’ activity. This means that you do not have to complete a multiple-choice questionnaire.
The seminars are recorded with the facilitator speaking to camera for a more engaging experience.
While the video of the facilitator is included, there is also a screen share of the presentation for the viewer to follow along.
The seminar videos are provided along with a list of the key topics with time stamps for your easy reference.
Each seminar is split up into separate lessons. This makes the seminar bite-size for the busy professional on the go.
The CEU for this type of activity is allocated per time spent.
If you navigate away from the course, the site will remember your last place and show you which lessons you have completed and which remain.
The site shows a progress bar as well as a tick box to indicate to you how far you are into the course.
A certificate is generated at the end of the seminar automatically. You can download this or keep it in your profile. The certificate will include: your full name; your HPCSA registration number; the date that you completed the course; the accreditation number of the course and the number of CEU obtained through the course.
Register your profile and an invoice will be emailed to you.
If you only need a limited number of points, you may pay per course. Each point works out to R124 ex VAT and each course is R248 ex VAT.
Buy all the courses and get 6 Ethics points for a discount. Pay R505 ex VAT and enjoy a 32% discount.
